Casual Service Consultant – Customer Banking

About the role

As a Casual Service Consultant at ANZ in Gisborne, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting the branch. Working on‑call across the Northern East Coast, you will provide friendly, efficient banking assistance and connect clients with specialist services as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality face‑to‑face customer interactions in line with ANZ service standards.
• Process a range of banking transactions quickly and accurately while gathering relevant customer information.
• Manage cash handling duties, including cash deliveries, repatriation and maintaining appropriate cash holdings at the teller counter.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ policies, branch procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with branch teams to achieve service goals and support smooth operations.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for delivering excellent customer experiences and building rapport quickly.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain banking information clearly.
• Reliable personal transport and flexibility to work on short notice, including weekends and varied locations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
