Casual Programme Assistant - Queenstown

About the role

sKids creates out-of-school experiences for children across New Zealand, and is looking for a Casual Programme Assistant in Queenstown. The role is mainly afternoon and after-school, running between 2.30pm and 6.00pm, and is a reliever position rostered on an "as required" basis. Availability from 2.30pm is essential, though finish times may vary; school holiday programme hours (7am to 6pm) may also be available.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support children in a range of fun, safe activities
• Keep the spaces tidy, clean and welcoming for children
• Help the Programme Manager run smooth, energetic sessions
• Notice any issues with behaviour, wellbeing or safety and share them with the manager

Required profile

• Right to work in New Zealand (valid visa or citizenship)
• Able to reach Queenstown, Remarkables and Shotover sites reliably by public transport and/or own vehicle
• Enthusiasm for working with children, from babysitting to coaching to volunteering
• Reliable and energetic
