Brewery Maintenance Technician - Electrical

About the role

As a key member of the brewery team, you will help ensure safe and efficient delivery of high‑quality beer, cider and RTD products. You will be involved in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and continuous improvement initiatives that drive asset reliability and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, timely and cost‑effective maintenance to support production and maintenance schedules.
• Perform reactive, planned and predictive maintenance to a high standard.
• Support and lead TPM and continuous improvement projects to reduce losses and improve performance.
• Act as a technical area owner, overseeing asset care, life‑extension and innovation.
• Collaborate closely with production, planning and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Contribute to safety, quality, food‑safety and sustainability standards across the brewery.

Required profile

• Current New Zealand Electrical Practising Licence (mandatory).
• Experience in maintenance within FMCG, food or beverage manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of plant, machinery and maintenance engineering practices.
• Experience using CMMS systems and maintenance reporting tools.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset (TPM, Lean or CI experience is beneficial).
• Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to change and share knowledge.
