About the role
The Bar Manager will lead daily operations of the hotel bar and lounge, ensuring high standards of service, compliance, and profitability. This role supports menu planning, promotes the venue, and collaborates with other food‑and‑beverage outlets as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee bar/lounge shift operations, staff supervision and guest service.
- Implement beverage policies and ensure compliance with all liquor laws.
- Manage inventory, cost controls, portion control and periodic financial reporting.
- Develop menus, promotions and pricing strategies to drive sales.
- Train and schedule staff, maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
- Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints and drive continuous improvement.
- Support orientation and ongoing training for new hires.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing a bar or lounge in a hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of local liquor regulations and beverage control.
- Ability to manage budgets, payroll and controllable expenses.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
