ATR Flight Simulator Instructor (Auckland)

About the role

We are seeking experienced ATR Flight Simulator Instructors to join our Flight Simulator Training team in Auckland. You will deliver high‑quality simulator and classroom instruction to ATR pilots, supporting initial, recurrent and upgrade training.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver flight simulator and classroom instruction to ATR pilots for initial, recurrent and upgrade training.
• Conduct flight checks, assessments and evaluations in line with NZCAA Part 121 standards.
• Contribute to training program development and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate training records and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with operational and training teams to uphold safety and performance standards.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to pilots, fostering a learning culture.

Required profile

• Eligibility to live and work permanently in New Zealand (NZ citizen, permanent resident or Australian citizen).
• NZCAA CPL or ATPL.
• Minimum 3,000 total flight hours.
• Instructional experience with an NZCAA D‑Category Instructor Rating.

Required skills

• ATR flight simulator operation.
• Knowledge of NZCAA Part 121 regulations.
• Ability to conduct flight assessments and evaluations.
