Area Sales Manager – Workwear & Safety Footwear

About the role

MASCOT is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead the workwear and safety footwear business across Wellington and the lower North Island. You will own your territory, build strong distributor relationships, and drive commercial results for a global brand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand a robust distributor network, onboarding new partners and strengthening existing ones.
• Drive sales through proactive pipeline management, customer engagement, and close collaboration with distributors.
• Support partners with product knowledge, training, and in‑store concepts such as Shop‑in‑Shop.

Required profile

• Solid experience in field sales, distributor management or a similar commercial role, preferably within the PPE sector.
• Proven track record of delivering sales results.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify, develop and close opportunities.
• Structured, self‑driven approach combined with excellent relationship and communication skills.
• Proactive, independent, solution‑focused and a reliable team player.
