Architect – CAD & Construction Documentation (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Architect specialized in CAD and construction documentation to work remotely on a contract basis. The role involves producing detailed architectural drawings, electrical schematics and PCB layouts that meet engineering and manufacturing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed floor plans and elevation sets based on project requirements.
• Develop comprehensive 2D and 3D CAD drawings for architectural and engineering purposes.
• Prepare accurate GD&T callouts for manufacturing documentation.
• Produce and annotate multi-sheet electrical schematics in line with industry standards.
• Design and review PCB layouts, ensuring manufacturability and functional performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and resolve technical questions.
• Deliver complete documentation packages aligned with project milestones and quality expectations.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of recent experience in architectural CAD and construction documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multi-document sets.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience working on remote, cross-functional projects is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with industry-standard 2D/3D CAD tools.
• Expertise in PCB layout design.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to create and interpret multi-sheet electrical schematics.
