Agent Oversight Analyst – AML/CTF Compliance

About the role

The Agent Oversight Analyst will coordinate Western Union’s agent oversight program across New Zealand, ensuring that agents meet AML/CTF compliance standards. The role supports both new and existing agents, providing analysis, back‑office assistance, and follow‑up on improvement actions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the agent oversight program in alignment with Western Union entities and agents nationwide.
• Provide AML/CTF compliance support to agents, assessing the effectiveness of their compliance programs.
• Analyze and recommend improvements to internal controls and AML compliance frameworks for agents.
• Deliver back‑office support for agent oversight processes and monitor identified improvement areas.
• Assist with special projects assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in compliance, preferably within AML/CTF.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
