Various Quarrying & Earthworks Roles – Full‑time Positions

About the role

SouthRoads Ltd is expanding its Quarrying and Earthworks teams in Invercargill. We have several full‑time positions ranging from entry‑level to supervisory roles, all focused on delivering high‑quality civil construction projects across Southland and Otago.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Quarry Manager in daily site coordination and safety compliance.
• Operate crushing and screening plant equipment efficiently.
• Drive and control heavy machinery for earthmoving, grading, and material handling.
• Maintain equipment logs, report issues, and support routine maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Required profile

• Physically fit and motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Experience in quarrying, civil construction, or a genuine desire to learn.
• Valid driver’s licence (Class 2‑5 preferred) and willingness to obtain W, T, R endorsements if not already held.
• Good communication skills and a team‑player attitude.
• Ambition to build a long‑term career with the company.
