UX Content Designer – 12‑month Fixed‑Term

About the role

Join the Bank of New Zealand’s UX Content Team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to research, design, and implement customer‑centric content for our digital channels, focusing on internet banking platforms and mobile apps. You will be the voice of the customer, shaping clear pathways, micro‑copy, and flows that drive digital activation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with UX Designers, Researchers, Product Managers and developers to create clear, accessible digital experiences.
• Participate in project planning meetings, discovery workshops and stakeholder sessions.
• Contribute to content guidelines, processes and the design system.
• Translate insights from user research and analytics into actionable content solutions.
• Edit and co‑create content with team members.

Required profile

• Strategic thinking about content at both screen and system levels.
• Proven ability to write concise micro‑copy for digital channels.
• Strong understanding of UX design, content principles and accessibility standards.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and management skills.
• Passion for words, content strategy and collaborative teamwork.
