SEO Performance Manager

About the role

The SEO Performance Manager will lead off‑page SEO and online reputation initiatives for Global Wave Group, ensuring the brand appears positively across the web. This role focuses on building high‑quality backlinks, managing brand mentions, and addressing negative content to strengthen the company’s authority and visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an off‑page SEO strategy aligned with overall marketing goals.
• Design and run a systematic backlink acquisition program, including outreach, partnerships, digital PR, and guest posting.
• Identify, secure, and monitor high‑quality backlink opportunities from authoritative sites.
• Track backlink health, manage toxic or broken links, and coordinate disavow actions.
• Monitor branded search results and ensure positive information dominates the first page of SERPs.
• Detect and address negative, outdated, or misleading content through suppression, correction, or counter‑strategies.
• Collaborate with Content and PR teams to publish brand stories on external platforms.
• Manage company profiles on review sites, directories, and industry listings, responding to feedback in partnership with Customer Service.
• Use SEO and reputation tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Mention) to track performance and generate regular reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on SEO experience, with at least 1 year focused on off‑page SEO or link building.
• Proven experience managing online reputation, brand mentions, or digital PR campaigns (preferred).
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data, spot trends, and make data‑driven recommendations.
• Excellent written communication for outreach, responses, and content briefs.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and consistent in following documented processes.
