Senior Commercial Manager – V Energy

About the role

Suntory Oceania is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead the V Energy brand across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Brand Director, you will be the strategic voice of V Energy, shaping brand growth and translating vision into measurable performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Brand Director to deliver brand strategy across annual and mid‑term horizons.
• Provide financial, commercial, channel, shopper and consumer insights to guide market‑play decisions.
• Collaborate on innovation projects to ensure consumer and customer viability.
• Support senior marketing and commercial leaders in aligning stakeholders and driving excitement for V Energy plans.
• Present V Energy strategy at sales and customer forums to secure commercial buy‑in.
• Integrate brand strategy into core business processes such as Mid‑Term Planning, Annual Operating Plans and monthly reporting.
• Coordinate cross‑functional workstreams to execute in‑store activation, customer ranging, growth initiatives and business cases.
• Act as the recognised subject‑matter expert for the Energy category in New Zealand and the broader region.

Required profile

• Proven success in Marketing, Commercial or Sales within the FMCG/Consumer Goods sector.
• Strong aptitude for managing commercial performance and driving outcomes.
• Ability to interpret and translate financial, scan and brand‑health data into actionable insights.
