About the role
Abbott is seeking a Sampling Specialist to perform laboratory sampling activities that support product release, quality assurance, and customer requirements. The role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant sample collection, preparation, and dispatch.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and prepare samples according to approved procedures.
- Complete sampling and testing on schedule to support product release.
- Coordinate sampling requests with internal teams and ensure proper labeling, documentation, and traceability.
- Dispatch samples to laboratories in the correct condition and on time.
- Identify, escalate, and support resolution of sampling issues and quality investigations.
- Maintain sampling areas, equipment, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Participate in departmental meetings and adhere to ISO, health, safety, and environmental policies.
Required profile
- Experience working in a laboratory environment.
