Project Manager - Initiatives Lead

About the role

JDE Peet’s is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Initiatives Lead to join the team on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive a portfolio of initiatives such as new product introductions, change programmes, promotional activities and complexity‑reduction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of initiatives from feasibility through implementation and post‑launch review.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resources and risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Supply Chain, R&D, Procurement and external partners.
• Produce project documentation: business cases, plans, status reports and updates.
• Facilitate governance forums to ensure alignment, decision‑making and accountability.
• Manage risks, issues and dependencies, proactively removing barriers.
• Oversee trial and launch readiness, ensuring material, system and resource alignment.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying process‑streamlining opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards while staying within budget.

Required profile

• Strong, proven project management experience in FMCG or a similarly fast‑paced, complex environment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
• Advanced stakeholder management and influencing skills across all organisational levels.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, timelines and project risks.
• Outcome‑focused, structured planning and organisational approach.
