Project Manager – Infrastructure & Civil Works

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join CORDE’s dedicated team delivering vital infrastructure projects across the Canterbury region. You will own projects from concept through to completion, ensuring safe, on‑time and cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle for water, civil and related infrastructure works.
• Manage tender and bid processes, supporting the team from proposal to close‑out.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing environment.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules and quality standards, reporting progress to stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Established network and solid understanding of Canterbury’s infrastructure environment.
• Experience with water mains, three‑waters, civil infrastructure, greenfield development, bridges or retaining structures.
• Proven leadership ability to manage people, influence outcomes and drive results under pressure.
• Innovative, solutions‑focused mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
