Production Test Technician 1

About the role

As a Production Test Technician at Lam Research, you will set up, calibrate and troubleshoot circuits, components and mechanical assemblies for advanced semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment. You will develop test specifications and procedures, ensuring they meet design and customer requirements while maintaining high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support a safe work environment by following safety guidelines, PPE usage and Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Set up, calibrate and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies of wafer fabrication equipment.
• Develop and execute test specifications and procedures to meet design specifications.
• Prepare clear technical reports and communicate production status, completed tasks and improvement ideas to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and production schedules.

Required profile

• Up to 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with computer‑based data systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Physical ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, walk, sit, twist, squat, kneel, climb and stand, and lift equipment up to 35 lb.
• Capability to distinguish wires by color, size, thickness and markings.
