Marketing Manager

About the role

M2 Overland is seeking a full‑time Marketing Manager to lead the brand’s growth across trade, fleet and outdoor‑enthusiast segments. Based in Napier, you will shape and execute the overall marketing strategy, driving awareness and demand for our premium ute tray and canopy systems.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, launch and optimise digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
• Manage all digital channels, including website, social media and email platforms.
• Coordinate product launches, promotional activities and field activations.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging across all collateral and reseller networks.
• Produce and oversee content creation for web, social, print and video.
• Analyse performance data, generate insights and optimise spend.
• Maintain relationships with agencies, partners and resellers.
• Support events, trade shows and occasional travel for customer visits.
• Conduct market and competitor research to inform product positioning.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies.
• Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms.
• Strong campaign planning, content briefing and creative asset coordination skills.
• Ability to interpret marketing and sales data and report on performance.
• Experience collaborating with sales, product and operations teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer‑focused approach.
• Organisational and project‑management abilities, including budget handling.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
• Previous experience in automotive, manufacturing, outdoor or trade industries is a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site and travel occasionally for events or reseller support.
