About the role
AsureQuality is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join its Customer Solutions team, supporting customers across New Zealand’s dairy and food sectors. This strategic, relationship‑focused position will drive growth through solution selling, build trusted partnerships, and uncover new opportunities for value creation.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow strategic customer relationships across the dairy and food sectors.
- Drive revenue growth and achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Lead customer planning, contract negotiations, renewals, and tender processes.
- Identify and develop new customer partnerships and emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate across internal teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
- Maintain strong market awareness of industry trends and regulatory developments.
Required profile
- 5+ years’ experience in account management, technical sales, or B2B customer relationship management.
- Strong industry knowledge of dairy, food, ingredients, agribusiness, testing, or certification sectors.
- A technical or science‑based qualification.
- Proven success building, growing, and managing customer portfolios.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, resilient, and solutions‑focused attitude.
