Infrastructure Advisory Summer Internship

About the role

Aurecon’s 12‑week paid Summer Internship offers penultimate‑year students the chance to work on real‑world advisory projects within the infrastructure sector. Interns will be placed in either Auckland or Wellington and will experience a blend of on‑site and hybrid work.

Key responsibilities

• Support advisory teams on innovation‑focused infrastructure projects.
• Participate in the Intern Innovation Challenge to develop creative solutions.
• Engage with mentors and professional networks through the Early Careers Professional Network.
• Contribute to sustainability and design discussions across project teams.

Required profile

• Penultimate‑year student pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering and/or Bachelor of Commerce.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Strong relationship‑building mindset and willingness to push boundaries.
• Enthusiasm for learning and taking ownership of your career adventure.
