General Practitioner – ARC (0.1–0.8 FTE)

About the role

Third Age Health is seeking qualified General Practitioners to provide high‑quality primary care across aged residential care (ARC) facilities nationwide. The role is flexible, part‑time (0.1 – 0.8 FTE) and involves regular on‑site visits to support the health and wellbeing of older residents.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled on‑site visits, including new admission assessments, acute care reviews, routine examinations and medication reviews.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold professional standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, family consultations and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Build respectful, person‑centred relationships with residents, families and care staff.

Required profile

• Current Annual Practicing Certificate.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, person‑centred approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Interest or experience in aged residential care is desirable.
