Freight Forwarder – Import Sea

About the role

DSV Air & Sea is looking for a dedicated Freight Forwarder to manage import sea shipments in Auckland. You will ensure smooth movement of door‑to‑door consignments, complying with company policies and external regulations while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage import workflows according to SOPs, customer requirements and company directives.
• Collaborate with the import team to guarantee accuracy, compliance and timely processing.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and international service providers.
• Resolve import and transport issues with airlines, CTOs, co‑loaders and shipping lines.
• Calculate freight costings, GST and space requirements accurately.
• Enter shipment data into CargoWise One efficiently.
• Identify process improvements and support the Team Lead/Manager with daily operations and projects.

Required profile

• Strong communicator with the ability to influence and present ideas clearly.
• Detail‑oriented, meeting deadlines and following procedures.
• Confident, resilient and proactive with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Proven experience in freight forwarding (air & sea) and handling import documentation.
