Flight Attendant – Auckland Base (Expression of Interest)

About the role

Air New Zealand is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join its Cabin Crew Whānau on a full‑time basis at the Auckland base, with intakes starting July 2026. As a Flight Attendant you will be the face of the airline, ensuring every passenger enjoys a safe, comfortable and memorable journey.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards of passenger safety and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Provide exceptional hospitality, addressing passenger needs from boarding to arrival.
• Support on‑time performance by assisting the flight deck and crew during operational challenges.
• Execute safety demonstrations, emergency procedures, and post‑flight checks.

Required profile

• NZ or Australian citizenship, or permanent residency in either country.
• Valid passport with at least two years of remaining validity.
• Minimum age of 18 at the time of application.
• At least two years of customer‑facing experience in a high‑pressure environment (preferred).
• Full New Zealand driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Physical fitness to stand for long periods and perform safety‑related tasks.
• Willingness to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays, and to comply with grooming and uniform standards.
