Finance Manager – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Finance Manager on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to lead high‑quality financial and management reporting. You will partner with senior stakeholders, turning complex data into clear insights while upholding strong financial governance.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate, timely monthly financial reports for the KPMG Executive and Board.
• Deliver monthly and annual financial and management reporting, including ad‑hoc variance analysis.
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes.
• Identify and implement improvements to internal processes and controls.
• Oversee entity reporting, standing journals, allocations and balance‑sheet reconciliations to ensure data completeness and accuracy.

Required profile

• B.Com in Accounting or equivalent tertiary qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Experience with KPMG’s IBS – SAP ERP system.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Self‑starter with a focus on continuous improvement and high attention to detail.
