Experienced Production Engineer

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to drive a mass‑production ramp, implement process improvements, and ensure seamless new‑product introduction for our innovative livestock‑management solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Build and refine scalable processes to meet increased production capacity and high‑volume output.
- Develop and maintain assembly and test equipment, including jigs and fixtures.
- Proactively resolve component and assembly issues to keep production unblocked.
- Plan critical materials and manage supplier schedules to support rapid R&D iterations.
- Investigate defective products and implement corrective actions.
- Apply engineering principles to solve challenges throughout the production lifecycle.
- Continuously improve processes to achieve on‑time, high‑quality, cost‑effective output.
- Maintain up‑to‑date production documentation, such as BOMs and SOPs.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical discipline.
- Proven experience working with contract manufacturers and external suppliers.
- Experience providing Design for Manufacturing (DfM) input to product designers.
- Background in high‑volume electronics manufacturing.
- Strong ability to generate and maintain detailed production documentation (BOMs, SOPs).
- Familiarity with electronic resource planning and product lifecycle management systems.
- Excellent negotiation skills with external partners.
- Experience designing and building jigs and fixtures for mass production.
