About the role
We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations at Novotel Queenstown Lakeside. The role will coordinate multiple departments to ensure high service standards, operational efficiency, and compliance with brand requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Drive performance and assist in managing hotel operations across Rooms Division and Food & Beverage.
- Support consistent guest service delivery and accommodation standards.
- Monitor operational performance and help achieve budgeted financial targets.
- Contribute to revenue management strategies, occupancy and room allocation oversight.
- Work with Food & Beverage operations on service standards, cost control and stock management.
- Oversee Front Office and Reservations processes to ensure accurate billing and guest service.
- Partner with People and Culture on recruitment, training, performance management and staff development.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, fire safety and operational policies.
- Assist in maintaining property presentation standards and coordinating maintenance.
- Support operational reporting, audits and compliance documentation.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in hotel operations or multi‑department management.
- Proven leadership and people‑management skills across multiple departments.
- Operational experience in both Rooms Division and Food & Beverage.
- Ability to work and solve problems in a fast‑paced, high‑occupancy hotel.
- Strong communication skills and ability to resolve operational issues.
- Passion for developing people and creating opportunities within the industry.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Property Management System (PMS) software.
- Microsoft Excel.
- Microsoft Word.
