Demand & Supply Planner

About the role

Join a leading NZ‑owned industrial and construction business as a Demand & Supply Planner. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will own end‑to‑end planning for a key product category, driving accurate forecasts and balanced supply.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand and supply plans for the assigned category range.
• Perform analytical forecasting, demand‑supply balancing, and inventory optimisation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align expectations and resolve issues.
• Lead projects to improve ERP systems, processes, and overall supply‑chain performance.
• Act as the central liaison for all supply‑chain stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Demand/S&OP Specialist or similar planning role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent relationship‑building, communication and influencing skills.
• Academic background in supply chain, logistics or related field is highly regarded.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience working with ERP planning systems.
