Composite Boat Builder

About the role

Vessev is developing hydro‑foiling electric vessels and needs a hands‑on Composite Boat Builder to join its Build team. This full‑time, on‑site position involves fabricating and assembling high‑performance composite structures that form the core of the company’s boats.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate composite parts using resin infusion and related techniques.
• Assemble structural components through bonding, taping and finishing processes.
• Produce CNC‑machined plugs and composite tooling for part production.
• Prepare moulds, consumables and materials for efficient lay‑up and infusion.
• Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet Vessev’s quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians and other builders to continuously improve build processes.
• Maintain a safe, organised and professional workshop environment.

Required profile

• Practical, detail‑oriented builder who takes pride in clean infusions and strong bonds.
• Team player motivated by working in a high‑performance composite boat building environment.
• Willingness to learn about hydro‑foiling and electric marine technology.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with resin infusion.
• Knowledge of structural bonding and taping.
• Familiarity with composite materials and high‑end tooling.
• Ability to work with CNC‑machined plugs and fabricate composite tooling.
• Experience in mould preparation and lay‑up processes.
• Quality assurance and inspection skills.
