Cognitive Scientist – AI Trainer

About the role

Join DataAnnotation’s DataAnnotation team to help shape next‑generation AI systems that reason about quantitative data. You will work remotely, evaluating AI‑generated analyses, designing benchmark problems, and providing feedback that improves model accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated quantitative work for technical accuracy and real‑world validity.
• Design and solve quantitative problems used to train and benchmark AI models, covering forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
• Write clear technical explanations and well‑documented analytical code.
• Provide actionable feedback that directly influences future AI reasoning capabilities.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in a quantitative role (e.g., data science, statistics, economics, physics, biology, operations research).
• Comfort writing and reviewing end‑to‑end analytical code.
• Fluency in English with strong written communication skills.
