CNC Operator – Evening Shift

About the role

Rocket Lab is seeking a CNC Operator for the evening shift to support the production of high‑precision components used in space missions. You will work in a clean manufacturing environment alongside skilled colleagues, operating modern CNC equipment to meet strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up machines, including fixture alignment, work coordinate systems, and tool loading.
• Run simulations, dry runs, and verify code before production.
• Perform in‑process inspections and measurements of parts.
• Support research and development tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads.
