Casual Registered Nurse – Auckland

About the role

We are looking for a Casual Registered Nurse to join Palms Lifecare in Auckland on an as‑needed basis. You will work a variety of shifts – mornings, evenings, nights and weekends – providing high‑quality nursing care in a modern 118‑bed care home and village setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of caregivers to deliver safe, compassionate care.
• Develop, monitor and update individual care plans for residents.
• Conduct clinical assessments and document findings.
• Build lasting relationships with residents, families and general practitioners.
• Support Clinical Services and Care Home Managers in daily operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in New Zealand or overseas.
• Current APC registration.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Genuine passion for helping people and a collaborative team spirit.
• Commitment to health and safety and continuous improvement.
