Assistant Store Manager – Westgate

About the role

Join Bendon’s Westgate store as an Assistant Store Manager and help drive a high‑performing retail environment. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and deliver an exceptional, personalised fitting experience for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager on all operational aspects and lead the team during the Store Manager’s rostered days off.
• Train, coach and develop staff using your retail and apparel experience, focusing on daily service standards.
• Become BRA‑FIT certified to provide expert fitting guidance and enhance customer confidence.
• Execute merchandising, loss‑prevention, stock processing and other operational tasks while meeting or exceeding KPIs.
• Uphold the Bendon approach by interacting with customers before, during and after fittings to ensure a comfortable experience.

Required profile

• Prior experience in retail, preferably in apparel or lingerie.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to inspire a team.
• Willingness to obtain BRA‑FIT certification and follow Bendon’s fitting methodology.

Required skills

• Ability to train and coach staff on daily operational procedures.
• Knowledge of merchandising, loss prevention and stock handling.
• Capability to work with performance metrics and achieve KPIs.
